Sponsorship & Coaching Skills for Super Projects
Goal:
The overall goal of Module #2 is to assist managers and supervisors in the development of the facilitative leadership skills needed to sponsor S.U.P.E.R.™ projects, and the leadership style necessary to coach Project Managers and Teams to achieve organization-wide success indicators for project management teams.
Objectives:
Participation in this 3-Day workshop will enable Managers and Supervisors to:
  1. Define S.U.P.E.R.™ projects;
  2. Understand the current knowledge of project management success, and the most common contributions managers and supervisors make to failures;
  3. Assess their own leadership style and create development goals for their own improvement as a facilitative leaders in partnership with their S.U.P.E.R.™ Project Managers;
  4. Develop a shared understanding of the appropriate roles of line managers and supervisors in S.U.P.E.R.™ Project Management success;
  5. Share a common model for project management success strategies, terminology, process phases, improvement cycles, and coaching needs;
  6. Share expectations of basic S.U.P.E.R.™ Project documentation tools and how to monitor them;
    Create coaching success indicators to support the strategic organization-wide priorities and success indicators for S.U.P.E.R.™ Projects.
